With a distinguished career of more than 35 years within the social care sector, Sharon is an experienced practitioner and qualified Social Worker (registered with Social Work England). Her journey showcases an unwavering commitment to children and young people across children’s homes, fostering, and the supported accommodation sectors. Her passion is based in supporting teams to develop and improve standards.

Transitioning to an Independent Social Care Consultant role in early 2022, Sharon offers a variety of services aimed at implementing and improving practice.

Focusing on quality assurance, Sharon offers support in preparing organisations for Ofsted registration and inspection, as well as supporting teams to improve practice, compliance and safeguarding procedures.

Sharon’s commitment to raising standards, promoting safeguarding, and fostering collaborative partnerships defines a dedication to enhancing social care services, while showcasing her focus on the welfare of Care-experienced young people.
